Netanyahu Urges Removal of Iran's Supreme Leader to Halt Ongoing Crisis
Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that eliminating Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, could bring an end to the prolonged conflict between Israel and Iran. Speaking candidly, Netanyahu emphasized that such a move would not escalate tensions but rather stop the 'forever war' driven by Tehran.
Addressing the Root of the Conflict
Netanyahu highlighted half a century of hostility fueled by the Iranian regime, which has been responsible for widespread terrorism across the Middle East. He referenced attacks such as the bombing of Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil fields and ongoing subversion efforts orchestrated by Iran.
"The 'forever war' is what Iran wants, and they are edging us towards nuclear confrontation. Israel’s actions aim to prevent this, standing against aggression by holding the forces of evil accountable," Netanyahu asserted.
Khamenei Compared to Hitler’s Nuclear Strategists
Drawing a provocative comparison, Netanyahu likened Iran’s top nuclear scientists to the notorious team behind Hitler’s nuclear ambitions. He warned of the threat extending beyond Israel’s borders, potentially targeting cities worldwide.
"Today, it’s Tel Aviv. Tomorrow, it could be New York," he said. "They chant ‘Death to America,’ and it’s a battle between good and evil." Netanyahu expressed gratitude for the support of the United States, particularly under President Trump, in confronting this menace.
The US Role: Support and Calls for De-escalation
Despite reports that US President Donald Trump previously blocked an Israeli plan to assassinate Khamenei, Netanyahu affirmed that Israel is prepared to take necessary measures. Trump has since expressed a desire for immediate talks to reduce tensions between the two nations.
Israel and America: Shared Stakes Against a Global Threat
Netanyahu framed the conflict not just as Israel’s battle but as a global concern, especially for the United States. Highlighting the chants of “Death to Israel, death to America” heard from Iran-backed groups, he warned that the threat could soon reach American soil.
"America’s support in defense is deeply appreciated, but this is a threat to the entire world," he said. "Turning a blind eye is not an option when evil is so openly declared."
He urged a firm stance against these dangers, stating that the majority of Americans, along with their president, understand the critical need to confront this challenge head-on.
