“Do not drop those bombs. If you do, it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now,” he wrote.
Ceasefire Quickly Collapses as Hostilities Resume
Despite the ceasefire declaration intended to end the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran, hostilities reignited within hours on Tuesday morning. Around 10:30 p.m. local time, air raid sirens were triggered in northern Israel following reports of an Iranian missile launch—approximately two and a half hours after the ceasefire was announced.
Defense systems intercepted two incoming missiles, according to Israeli media. However, Iran denied any missile launches after the truce took effect.

In response, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz confirmed he had ordered a robust military counterattack against targets in Tehran, citing Iran’s violation of the ceasefire.
“I have instructed the IDF to respond forcefully to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire with powerful strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran,” Katz said in a statement.
He added that ongoing efforts would continue to target key regime and terrorist infrastructures within Tehran in retaliation for the missile launch and Iran’s breach of the truce.
