Sean 'Diddy' Combs is facing troubling allegations of assault made by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. During a Manhattan court hearing, Deonte Nash, a close friend and celebrity stylist for Ventura, testified that Combs frequently abused the singer and model during their relationship.
Nash recounted a specific incident at Ventura's Los Angeles home, where Combs allegedly woke her while she was asleep on the sofa, pulled her by the hair, and physically attacked her. According to Nash, the confrontation escalated to the point where Ventura struck her head on a bedframe, resulting in severe bleeding. Despite the violence, Combs reportedly prevented immediate emergency help, suggesting instead that her wounds be treated by a plastic surgeon through one of his security personnel.
The following day, Nash confirmed that Ventura appeared in a video call with visible stitches above her eyebrow, corroborating the extent of her injuries. Additional testimony revealed disturbing accounts from 2013, during which Combs allegedly threatened to release sexually explicit videos of Ventura with male prostitutes he coerced her to engage with. Nash stated that Ventura was reluctant to participate in such encounters and endured verbal abuse from Combs, who reportedly called her derogatory names.
Further evidence was presented by Ventura’s mother, Regina Ventura, who shared a 2011 email in which her daughter detailed ongoing violence and threats from Combs. The email claimed Combs threatened to release explicit tapes upon discovering Ventura's relationship with rapper Kid Cudi. It was also alleged that Combs demanded $20,000 to withhold these videos.
Sean Combs, who was arrested in September 2024, currently faces charges including racketeering, trafficking, and transporting individuals to engage in prostitution. He has not entered a plea. The case continues to unfold as the court examines the serious accusations against the hip-hop mogul.
