India’s multi-party delegations have garnered significant global backing in the country’s intensified campaign against terrorism emanating from Pakistan. Tasked with visiting 33 capitals worldwide, these delegations aim to engage the international community regarding Pakistan’s destabilizing activities and India’s firm response.
As of May 28, 2025, relations with Saudi Arabia, Italy, Indonesia, South Africa, Greece, France, Panama, Guyana, and others have deepened, marked by strong verbal commitments to cooperate against terrorism.
Key International Engagements
In Saudi Arabia, the delegation met with Minister of State Adel Al-Jubeir and other senior officials, receiving clear affirmation of support against terrorism. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh highlighted Saudi Arabia's stance appreciating India's zero-tolerance policy towards terror.
Greek counterparts engaged in substantive dialogues affirming India’s proactive anti-terrorism policies during meetings with Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Chatzivasileiou and members of the Hellenic Parliamentary Defence and Foreign Affairs Committees.
South Africa reiterated solidarity with India’s 'new normal' policy on terrorism during delegation talks with National Council of Province officials in Pretoria and parliamentary committees. South African representatives condemned recent terror attacks targeting Indian citizens.
Indonesia extended unequivocal support through meetings between India's delegation and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Arief Havas Oegroseno, as well as ASEAN officials, emphasizing condemnation of terrorism and backing dialogue-based conflict resolution.
In Europe, Italy signaled readiness for bilateral anti-terror collaboration following briefings with Senator Stefania Craxi, while France echoed unanimous solidarity with India against terror threats linked to Pakistan, underscored by engagements with the India-France Friendship Group and French Senate committees.
The Panama and Guyana delegations received pledges of understanding and support from top parliamentary and executive officials, recognizing terrorism’s threat to global peace and affirming partnerships grounded in shared values and history.

The diplomatic outreach follows a series of violent terrorist attacks within India, including an incident that claimed 26 lives, prompting India’s decisive military and diplomatic responses. Since early May, hostilities with Pakistan escalated but were later de-escalated after talks between military leaders. These diplomatic missions aim to articulate India’s commitment to combating terrorism and to build a united global front against terror sponsorship.
