Melbourne’s northwest was shaken when forensic teams uncovered human remains believed to belong to 23-year-old Joshua Bishop, who vanished over a month ago. The discovery unfolded in a quiet Westmeadows neighborhood, roughly 32 kilometers from the missing man's Sunbury residence.

Bishop was last seen around 9:30 PM on May 27 by his housemates in Lalor Crescent, Sunbury. Concern grew rapidly when he was reported missing two days later, prompting a police search.
