The University of Kerala’s Grand Observance
The University of Kerala teamed up with the Yoga Association of Kerala for a vibrant event at Jimmy George Stadium. The celebrations featured a yoga session followed by an invigorating 'yoga dance,' drawing a crowd of 500 participants. Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.R. Anil inaugurated the proceedings, while university syndicate finance convener G. Muraleedharan presided. Yoga Association president B. Balachandran delivered an inspiring message underscoring yoga’s importance.
Sainik School, Kazhakuttam’s Holistic Approach to Yoga
The Sainik School in Kazhakuttam hosted a Mass Yoga Session, with Principal Col. Dhirendra Kumar inaugurating the event. He stressed integrating yoga into daily routines to nurture holistic growth. Their celebrations spanned from June 6 to 21 and included a variety of engaging activities such as poster-making, essay contests, quizzes, lectures, and streaming live yoga sessions, enriching the students’ appreciation for the discipline.
