India's Firm Stand Against Terrorism
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized India's firm stance against terrorism during a speech at Sainik School Chittorgarh, his alma mater. He declared that India will no longer tolerate any acts of terrorism, asserting that perpetrators will face decisive consequences similar to past actions in Bahawalpur and Muridke.
He referenced India's recent military operation, highlighting it as a precise and carefully targeted mission aimed solely at dismantling terrorist hideouts without harming civilians or property unnecessarily.
Successful Military Operations and Global Recognition
Dhankhar praised the Indian armed forces for their recent successes, which have received international acclaim. He noted that terrorist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba have had their strongholds deep inside Pakistan's territory destroyed, a landmark achievement accomplished without crossing international norms.
The vice president remarked on the impact of these actions, including the public display of coffins escorted by enemy forces, symbolizing the significant blows dealt to terrorism.
India's Unstoppable Growth and Scientific Achievements
Describing the present era as transformational for India, Dhankhar stated that the nation's progress is unstoppable and incremental. The focus is no longer on untapped potential, but on harnessing and exploiting existing capabilities to reach national goals.
He asserted that the vision of a developed India is within reach, encouraging youth to utilize their time and talents optimally to contribute to this journey.
Highlighting scientific advancements, he celebrated India’s landmark achievement as the first country to successfully land the Chandrayaan-3 mission at the Moon's South Pole, a testament to the country's growing strength and global stature.
Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Participation
The Vice President welcomed the increased participation of women in various sectors, including defense, space research, and law enforcement. He acknowledged the historic transformation of Sainik Schools, which were initially established only for boys, noting that recognizing and empowering women is essential for national success.
Dhankhar referred to women in these roles as integral contributors, including those in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), often referred to as 'rocket women'.
He also lauded the government’s policy of reserving one-third of seats in the Lok Sabha and state legislatures for women, calling it a game-changing development.

Reflecting on his personal journey, Dhankhar described Sainik School Chittorgarh as his true birthplace where he imbibed values of discipline, camaraderie, and environmental care.
He urged students to overcome fear, stress, and failure, framing failure as an instructive message prompting greater effort. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, he inspired them to "Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached."
